B Corp Month 2023 – P.L.A.Y.

By Nicole Melo on Mar 31, 2023

P.L.A.Y. Pet Lifestyle and You is a proud certified B Corporation, and to kick off the end of B Corp Month, we wanted to highlight some other B Corps we love!

What is a B Corp?

A B Corp is a type of company that meets high standards of social and environmental performance, accountability, and transparency. These companies aim to balance profit with purpose by considering the impact of their decisions on employees, customers, communities, and the environment.

What is B Corp Month

B Corp Month is a month-long celebration held every March to honor and recognize Certified B Corporations and their commitment to using business as a force for good.

B Corps We Love

Earth Rated
Our furiends at Earth Rated help make cleaning up after your pets less of a core! From poop bags to dog wipes, they help you get the job done.

P.S. – Check out our toy collection created in collaboration with Earth Rated: Montréal Munchies! This collection was inspired by the mouth-watering foods of Montréal, home of Canadian cuisine and the Earth Rated headquarters.

Nespresso
Our headquarters in San Francisco runs off Nespresso coffee! Some of our favorite flavors are Pumpkin Spice Cake, Colombia, and Napoli.

We participate in their recycling program by dropping off our used pods each month at one of their 100,000+ collection points. Nespresso makes recycling their capsules easy and gives them a new lease on life!

Wilder Harrier
Wilder Harrier is another Montreal-based pet food company that uses unique ingredients to help dogs tackle allergies and sensitive stomach issues, all while helping the environment!

Fun fact: Wilder Harrier likes bugs in their food. That’s because they’re powerfully hypoallergenic and are one of the most sustainable sources of protein currently available. By shopping their Dry Food – Farmed Insects formula, you’ll help save thousands of litres of water and keep your pup reaction-free.

Amy’s Kitchen
We love Amy’s Kitchen’s tasty dishes and recipes, but we especially love their mission to choose what’s best for their customers, farmers, employee, and the planet!

Did you know that they were organic before it was a national certification? The U.S. Department of Agriculture looked to them for guidance when creating standards for organic foods!
