When it is time to clean the Mag-Float, simply pull the outside magnet away from the tank, and the inside magnet will float to the top for easy retrieval. This allows you to keep your hands dry, and avoids toxic lotions or soap residue that may come from your skin from getting into the water. The magnet will never sink to the bottom, preventing any debris from getting caught in the cleaning pad, and causing scratches on your tank. The unique floating feature also allows ease of movement around corners, and prevents decorations from getting knocked over in the process.
